There is nothing more Swiss than the sound of cow bells on an Alpine slope. High up in the Swiss Alps, dairy farmers keep their family traditions alive, earning a living making cheese.

Every year, in the middle of September, after spending the summer grazing in the Alpine pastures of Dürrenwald, over 300 cows, adorned with flowers and ribbons, accompanied by farmers and cowherds, descend to be welcomed back into the village.
